PT PatraSK is a Joint Venture Company of strategic cooperation between PT Pertamina (Persero) and SK Lubicants. The Joint Venture is formed by PERTAMINA's subsidiary PT Pertamina Patra Niaga and SK Lubricants Subsidiary SKEI.

About Us

Overview

PT PatraSK is a Joint Venture Company between SK Lubricants as subsidiary of SK Innovation and PT Pertamina Patra Niaga as subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero) through Agreement dated April 23rd, 2006 with composition share for SK Lubricants are 65% and PT Pertamina Patra Niaga are 35%.

This cooperation has made the two parties to increase the product added value by utilizing the side product of Unconverted Oil (UCO) of PT Pertamina Refinery Unit II as the material to produce high quality synthetic lubricant. In addition, this cooperation also strengthens Pertamina position in domestic and regional lube oil market.

PT Patra SK was officially established in November 16th, 2006 and now commemorate as Company Anniversary Day.The 3rd Group Dumai LBO plant itself was finished built in March 2008 and one month after initial startup we successfully produce on spec product in April 2008.

PT PatraSK is a joint venture company between PT Pertamina Patra Niaga and SK Lubricants (the largest oil refinery in South Korea), in producing the Group 3 Lube Base Oil Plant located in area of Putri Tujuh Plant, Pertamina Refinery Unit II area in Dumai, Indonesia.

PT PatraSK was established in 2006, and we have been producing and operating commercially since the May 1st, 2008.

In this joint cooperation, PT Pertamina and SK Lubricants had been shared common expertise, experiences as well as background in oil field, both in the process and technology, to produce high quality base oil enables us to penetrate the global market.

Our expertise, experience and similar backgrounds have become our strengths to produce high quality base oil market worldwide.
